The Special Families Support (SFS) Group, founded in Dubai by Gulshan Kavarana in 1998, celebrated its 25th anniversary on December 8, marking a significant milestone in its long journey.\nA network of over 500 families across five countries currently, SFS has, over the past quarter of a century, fostered greater understanding and wider unity within society. The organization provides a platform for families of individuals with disabilities to connect, share experiences,and build lasting bonds.
\nThe silver-jubilee celebration, hosted by philanthropist and businesswoman Ms. Faridah F Ajmal at her residence in Dubai, turned memorable as SFS was commended for its journey and its impact on the community.
\n\u201cThrough collective efforts and a shared commitment, we have brought smiles to many faces and made a difference in the lives of countless families,\u201d said Ms Gulshan Kavarana, SFS Founding Member. \u201cWith its unwavering commitment to inclusivity and empowerment, SFS

\nto families with Special Needs children.\u201d
\nThe organization\u2019s dedication to creating a supportive environment rooted in hope, empowerment, and resilience has touched countless lives, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness
\nand encouragement in the community.

\nThe event drew over 250 families and was graced by the presence of distinguished guests
\nfrom the UAE and India. Notable attendees included Mr. Yakoob Ali, representing the Dubai Royal Family and serving as the Executive Director and Private Advisor to the Office of HisHighness Sheikh Juma Maktoum Al Maktoum, as well as acclaimed Bollywood actor Boman Irani, who travelled from India to honor the celebration.The evening underscored the significance of SFS\u2019s initiatives through a blend of entertainment, a sumptuous food gala, and vibrant stage performances, creating an unforgettable experience for all participants.
