Indian Women in Dubai’s biography cof ee table book returns with 15 new stories, a grander
stage, and a room full of women who deserved to be seen.

Dubai : Some things succeed the first time by accident. When they succeed the second time, it is because
of intention. Women of Wonder Season 2, the latest biography coffee table book curated by
Indian Women in Dubai (IWD), was nothing short of intentional.

Launched recently to a room filled with achievers, their families, community leaders, and media,
the second edition of the Women of Wonder (WOW) series immortalised the journeys of 15
extraordinary women from across the UAE. Entrepreneurs. Leaders. Legacy-makers. Women
who had, in many cases, spent years building in silence before this night gave them a stage.
The evening was opened with the ceremonial welcoming of three distinguished chief guests:
Amb. Laila Rahhal El Atfani, Goodwill Ambassador and Head of Protocol and Diplomacy at The
Royal House of Queen Sheba, Crown Senator and Global Ambassador of Modest Fashion Week;
Dr Nishi Singh, MD, MS, FRCPath, FIMSA, Consultant Virologist at ConCeive Gynecology and
Fertility Hospital. Each brought gravitas and warmth to an occasion already electric with
emotion. Cultural performances by Garima’s dance troupe wove artistry through the evening,
completing a night that was as joyful as it was significant.

EACH PAGE, A DIFFERENT WORLD
What made Season 2 stand apart was its texture. Fifteen women, fifteen entirely distinct worlds.
The book features Dr Bhavika Chandnani of Kiama Beauty Lounge, Candida Carvalho of Little
Loop Knots, Deepika Rao of Zone 24 Properties LLC, Dr Harmeet Kaur of Zariya by Harmeet,
Kavita Sriram of Kavzartz, Dr Mariam Shaikh of MS Education Consultants, Marina D’Souza of
Procast Studio, Natasha Parikh of My Learning Curve, Nitu Pandorwala of Universe of Cosmic
Healing, Palak Trivedi of Zen Zone, Rashmi Gurbaxani of CPME Consulting LLC, Saida Alam
(Riku) of Sui Dhaaga, Sanjana Ghosh of Rubaab Beauty Salon, Dr Tumpa Banerjee of Artroy
FZE LLC, and Zohra Dawoodani of Yogbirth.

“Seeing my journey captured in this beautiful cof ee table
book, alongside so many extraordinary women, was bothhumbling and deeply emotional.”
Each six-page profile was written with care, approved by the subject, and designed to endure.
The result is not a catalogue. It is a keepsake. The kind of book that sits on a coffee table and gets
picked up again and again.
THE ROOM THAT SAID EVERYTHING
If the book is the artefact, the launch event was the heartbeat. Guests moved through the
evening alongside the women they had just read about, a rare convergence of story and
presence. The presence of Amb. Laila Rahhal El Atfani and Dr Nishi Singh as chief guests lent
the occasion both diplomatic weight and the warmth of shared conviction.
“Standing among so many accomplished women filled me
with pride, gratitude, and inspiration.”
For many of the featured women, it was the first time their professional journey had been
formally documented and celebrated in a public forum. That distinction was not lost on anyone
in the room.
IN THEIR OWN WORDS
In the days around the launch, the women of WOW Season 2 spoke. What they said captures
something no event recap can fully hold.
“A woman’s greatest legacy is not what she achieved for herself, but the opportunities,
the hope, and the confidence she can create for other women.”
Dr Mariam Shaikh
Founder and CEO, MS Education Consultants
“I’d like to thank Reema Mahajan and the IWD team for this opportunity to be part of
Women of Wonder, a book full of inspiring stories by women of resilience.”

BEYOND THE BOOK: THE WOW PODCAST
The Women of Wonder experience does not end with the printed page. Each featured achiever is
invited to record a dedicated episode on the WOW podcast channel, a platform created to extend
the reach of these stories well beyond the launch event.
These are not promotional segments. Each episode is a focused, 10-minute conversation in
which the woman is invited to speak about her journey in her own voice. What shaped her. What
she built. What she would tell a younger woman standing where she once stood. The format is
intimate and deliberately unhurried, creating space for the kind of candour that rarely makes it
into a printed profile.
“The podcast is where the book breathes. It gives each
woman a voice that carries further than any page canreach.”
For the featured achievers, it is an additional layer of visibility on a platform curated entirely for
their community. For listeners, it is access to the kind of mentorship and perspective that used
to happen only behind closed doors. The WOW podcast is available on IWD’s channels and
continues to grow with each new season.
FROM SEASON 1 TO SEASON 2: A MOVEMENT, NOT A MOMENT
The Women of Wonder series began as a vision held by one woman. It has grown, as the best
community projects do, into something much larger than its origins. Season 1 introduced the
format. Season 2 raised the ceiling. Season 3 is already open.
“A journey that started with the vision of one woman has
now become a beautiful legacy.”
The IWD community, now 160,000 members strong across the UAE, stands behind every
edition of this book as proof that Indian women’s stories are worth preserving, worth printing,
and worth celebrating loudly.
