Indian Women in Dubai unveiled the third edition of its biography coffee table book, a celebration of culture, and a stage full of women whose stories deserved to be told
DUBAI: On the evening of 30 October 2026, the India Club, Dubai became the stage for one of the most memorable nights on the Indian community calendar. Indian Women in Dubai (IWD) launched Women of Wonder Season 3, the third edition of its biography coffee table book, honouring twelve women whose journeys span healthcare, wellness, education, entrepreneurship, creativity and personal transformation.
The evening opened with welcome remarks by Radha Shah, followed by the grand entrance of the twelve featured women to a round of applause that set the tone for the night. Guests then rose for the national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and India, before Reema Mahajan, Founder of Indian Women in Dubai, addressed the gathering on the vision behind the series and the community of over 150,000 it has grown to serve. “Every woman has a story worth sharing, every journey has something to teach us, and every achievement deserves to be recognised.”
A NIGHT OF CULTURE AND CEREMONY
Art and expression sat at the centre of the programme. Garima and her DanceShaala troupe took to the stage with a performance that filled the hall with grace and energy, and the chief guests joined the stage to felicitate the troupe. The evening was graced by two chief guests. Amb. Laila Rahhal, Goodwill Ambassador and Head of Protocol and Diplomacy at The Royal House of Queen Sheba, Crown Senator and Global Ambassador of Modest Fashion Week, and Kusum Dutta, Artist, Writer, Community Advocate and Philanthropist, joined Reema Mahajan on stage for the official unveiling of the book. The room counted down from five together, and Women of Wonder Season 3 was officially launched.
THE TWELVE WOMEN OF WONDER: Each woman was introduced to the audience with a few lines celebrating her journey, before taking the microphone to share what the recognition meant to her. Season 3 features:

Together, the twelve stories make a case that there is no single path to making a difference.
They are told in the book through professionally written profiles, and for the first time they carry on beyond the page in a studio. In Seasons 1 and 2, the featured women’s podcast conversations were not recorded in a studio. For Season 3, thanks to Procast, IWD’s podcast partner, each woman’s conversation was recorded professionally, the first time in three seasons, giving her story a voice as well as a place on the coffee table.
THE PARTNERS WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE: IWD thanked its Season 3 partners on stage: Procast, the podcast partner, along with Bisleri, Burjeel Medical Centre, CreativeBees Events and The Brass Bazaar, for backing a platform that celebrates women’s achievements and the stories behind them.
SIGNED, PHOTOGRAPHED AND SUNG OUT: As the formal programme closed, the twelve featured women signed copies of the book and posed for photographs with guests, families and chief guests, turning the volume into a keepsake on the very night it was born. The evening ended on a high note with a closing musical performance by celebrated singer and world record holder Suraj. The celebrations continue this November, when IWD returns with Season 6 of the IWD Awards. And the next chapter is already calling: Women of Wonder Season 4 is coming, and the invitation is open.
