In a meaningful celebration of International Yoga Day, Anis Sajan, Vice Chairman of Danube Group, led a powerful yoga session at Danube Sports World in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council and the UAE Yoga Committee. The event brought together over 300 participants for an evening of movement, mindfulness, and unity.
Under the global theme “One Earth. One Health,” the event focused on the connection between personal well-being and global harmony. In his welcome note, Anis Sajan reflected on the recent air crash in India and ongoing tensions in the Middle East, emphasizing the need for collective healing in today’s world.
“Yoga is more than movement. It is reflection, it is grounding, and it is a path to healing, both individually and collectively,” said Anis Sajan. “With so much happening around us globally, it is essential that we pause, reflect, and come together to heal as a community. I am deeply grateful to the Dubai Sports Council for supporting this initiative and helping us promote the message of peace and unity through yoga.”
Participants received complimentary yoga mats and wellness goodie bags, and enjoyed healthy refreshments after the session. To add a touch of celebration, a raffle draw was held, with three winners receiving Milano Water Purifiers.
